Community Meeting September 20 2025
Summary
- Lins, Warren are now project leaders and SpecialK is leading game design.
- We are focusing on getting the community back on track after a slow period. We are not focusing on clear participation standards.
- We are actively seeking new contributors and making the project a more welcoming space.
- Now we are focusing on defining design pillars to guide the project's vision and feature development.

Lin's Updates
- Thanks to everyone who responded to my messages and for your collaboration.
- PParticipation standards are being enforced better than they were before.
- Discord roles have been adjusted for some. Those shifted to member only role are still welcome here and remain in overview channels and in social areas. Reengagement and new participation is welcome at any time with a new application.
- links and socials, and the about channel have been updated in preparation for new member recruitment.
- Call to the community for help with word of mouth recruitment help.
Current Project Focus
- Design Pillars
- Foundational vision statements to guide features, aim to finalize by Sept 29. Then we will shift experience to player focus.
- Design Reference Library -Central hub for sharing game inspiration using a provided template.
- Guides Program
- Guides help new or returning contributors onboard and reengage.
- Spreadsheet for guide assignments and applications is in progress. Contact Warrengore with questions in the interim.
Team Updates
- Art:
- There is a request for creating discord emojis/icons for teams and task priorities. Mob models are in progress!
- Station UI:
- New UI reflects recent theme vote.
- Build:
- Constructing guild buildings, rooms, and POIs for overworld structures.
Mod Development
- Cleaning bugs, targeting 0.1.5 release for stability, the 0.2.0 with new features like guilds, quests and anomalies.
- Data pack expansion underway, contributions via GitHub issues.
- Documentation:
- writing data pack docs and a project guidebook
- Lore:
- Quest-related exploration paused, team to test quest functionality
- Pack Dev:
- Holding mod updates until a significant new build; monitoring for needed mods.
Participation and Next Steps
- Everyone is encouraged to propose or edit design pillars and contribute ideas
- Open Q&A emphasized that role changes aren't personal, any level of contribution is valued.
